well, the OLPC project is not doing good. they couldnot get the price dow to $100, and now are facing fierce competitions from some BIG compaies. ot sure about the projects future or reach.

One laptop per child is a very good project but I think Asus now has commercialized its own project as Asus Eee PC 900 and PC 4G now are being sold in most markets.

Thanks.You raise a good point.Some corruption can erode these precious resources. I hope the OLPC people will keep a close watch on these laptops.

This project seems like a really good idea. I just hope that they are used to benefit the people they are meant to benefit.
