I can’t remember them clearly. But one most important teacher is my mom, she tought us when I was in grade two, she always took the efficence as the key element of everything! And I’m a girl who chases efficence everything!

What a great tribute to the impact that a teacher can have on one’s life. I still think my favorite teacher of all time was my third grade teacher. I am fortunate to live in the town where I grew up and still see many of my old teachers. Thanks for the post.

I have only two persons that have influenced my academic life: My math teacher, Mr Sfara (great man), and my physics teacher, Mrs Nacu.

I believe a lot of people’s success today does date back to the help from primary school teachers. They’re the ones that gets us started on thinking and how to be creative, which ends up helping out a lot later in life.

@balani: Mr Muyaba taught me at Mzokoto Primary School in Rumphi, Malawi way back in the 1980s. He retired two years after teaching our class and settled at his home village at Kacheche close to Rumphi district headquarters. He passed away towards the end of last decade, if I am not mistaken. I remember the names of most of his children, especially the younger ones, but the name Tobias is not just popping up. Maybe your dad was different Muyaba who coincidentally also happened to be a teacher.

hey My name is Tobias Muyaba, my dad was once a teacher, i just googled him n found this link, which school where u @ when he taught you…maybe its another muyaba, but the tumbuka accent makes it nearly spot on!
